50 Hour Yin Yoga, Meditation, Mindfulness, Essential Oils and Self Love

Yin Yoga is a unique practice that serves every body type and positively encapsulates the monkey mind. There are many ways to approach yin yoga and using the physical body is just the beginning. This course will focus on the mental and emotional dimension of the body using yin yoga as a leverage for mindfulness, introducing the principles of aromatherapy and self loving rituals.

Get yourself into a low, erratic or confusing moods for no reason sometimes? Can’t seem to change the way you think or feel about something in life, no matter how hard you try? Noticed that you have unconscious emotional responses and positive thinking sometimes isn’t enough? This course will help you identify when these responses happen and give you a sound foundation of what physiologically happens in the mind and the body during these emotional journeys. You will learn a gateway of possibilities and techniques to change the habit pattern of unconscious living.



​This course aims to take your experiential learning and teaching expertise to deepen your understanding of Yin yoga through a highly complementing approach that intrinsically touches the emotional body with subtlety and care.

Combining the basics of the functional and energetic approach to yin yoga (physical and energy bodies) with meditation, mindfulness, aromatherapy and creative writing (mental and emotional bodies) you will feed the depth of your ability to share yin yoga from multiple approaches within your self practice and with your students.

You will learn how to use the therapeutic effect of essential oils in conjunction with the therapeutic practice of Yin yoga, meditation, and self loving rituals to positively change your yoga practice both on and off the mat. You will come away with the ability to deepen, diversify and expand your teaching style and practice of yin yoga, making your experience of Yin Yoga one of humble truth and adventure.

At the end of the course will you be able to:

We Must Look After Ourselves Before We Can Look After Others

Essential oils and aromatherapy have long been used as an alternative approach to reaching the emotional sphere of the body and offers deep and lasting positive effects. When combined with yin yoga, physical and energetic target areas, aromatherapy promotes a holisitc and healing dimension to yoga – one that is more than just releasing physical tension from the body.

We could all focus on self loving habits, behaviours and actions a little more as life tends to take its stance and overwhelm a lot of us on a daily basis.This is normal but it is important that we stay balanced and healthy in our internal world. One way that we can do this is to immerse ourselves into a self loving ritual daily routines for both body and mind. Some of these include the way in which we talk to ourselves, rewiring our reactions and habit to daily life and altering our approach to the way we think about a situation. On this course we will have discusssion and practical sessions on building a self loving routine in the mind, just as much as the body.

We will go through 5 major emotional factors that people come to yoga and use essential oils for:
– Stress 
– Focus 
– Low self-esteem / self worth
– Sleep
– General balance and harmony
Each of these emotional factors will be focused on day by day, weaving together the yoga practice, theory of essential oils used for said emotion and the art of practicing and teaching yin yoga with considerations of said emotional state.
