This Yin Yoga Teacher Training Course in India will take you through a journey like no other. Anand Yoga Village, Goa

Anand Yoga Village is located at the quiet and serene south end of Palolem Beach in South Goa. A diverse group of dedicated Goan locals, global teachers and chefs, this community provides a nourishing and comfortable setting for guests to relax, re-nourish and reset. 

The yoga village is situated in the quiet village of Ourem, just a two-minute walk from the hustle and bustle of the beach, at the south end of Palolem. Set back from the main roads and beach, the space provides a tranquil and relaxing setting, conducive to a yogic lifestyle.

Open Lotus, Manali

Located in the heart of the Indian Himalayas, Open Lotus is a place to retreat and experience the serenity and culture of the Himalayan mountain ranges. Ideally located in the small village of Vashisht, just 3km from bustling Manali, you will have access to explore local wonders such as natural hot springs, waterfalls and other neighbouring villages via walking tracks that twist and turn throughout the valley. With their newly constructed yoga shala, you will feel at home in a nurturing homestay environment, with a warm space full of natural light.

Course Structure

Morning Class: The main practice of the day, incorporating Yin Yoga and meditation themed on the days content. This is your time to drop in to you and your practice.

Theory: The juicy bit of the course where we will have the opportunity to intricately break down the components of the course and reveal what it all means.

Art of Teaching and Asana Breakdown: These classes are where we will breakdown what it means to teach Yin Yoga and its aspects. You could call this the ‘behind the scenes’ of yin yoga teaching – the ‘how to’ and the ‘why’.

Want to teach Yin Yoga? On a teaching level, you will significantly enhance your teaching style and technique with your personality. You will refresh your knowledge of the elements surrounding Yin Yoga (depending on your course selection) through experiential workshops and theory sessions. Courses cover areas such as functional anatomy, fascial studies, bio-individuality of the body, Chinese Medicine, the 5 elements, meditation, pranayama, mindfulness, yogic philosophy, yoga nidra, neuroplasticity and aromatherapy.

Empowering Evening Practice: Evening practice incorporates a multitude of inner practices that range from yang styles of yoga and movement to a meditation circle.
